(ANSA) - New Delhi, January 20 - The Supreme Court in New
Delhi on Tuesday overturned life sentences against two Italians
for the murder of their travel companion and ordered that they
be immediately released. Tomaso Bruno and Elisabetta
Boncompagni, who had been found guilty by a high court of
killing Francesco Montis, had been in prison since February
2010. The Italian Ambassador to India told ANSA that he felt
"great satisfaction at the result achieved".
