(ANSA) - Milan, December 18 - Aquae Venezia 2015 will be a large international exhibition at Milan Expo 2015 with a special inauguration on May 3, two days before the official opening of the entire event, officials said Thursday.
Sponsored by the exhibition company Expo Venice SpA, the exhibition site will have an area of 50,000 square-meters dedicated to water in all its forms.
It is to be housed in a new multi-functional and permanent space designed for the occasion by Michele De Lucchi, architect of the Pavilion of Expo 2015. Aquae Venezia is based on the Expo's theme of sustainability, and offers a journey through the concrete and symbolic values related to water as it is used in agriculture and industry, as well as its vital role in health and the environment.
