(ANSA) - Milan, November 28 - Electricity for the exhibition sites of Milan Expo 2015 world fair will be "green" with clean energy provided by publicly traded Gala.
The energy company is listed on the Milan Stock Exchange's AIM Italia market for small and medium-sized enterprises.
Gala will provide 152 gigawatt hours (one gigawatt hour is equivalent to 100 million kilowatt hours), representing an overall cost of approximately 18.5 million euros. Green energy comes from naturally renewable resources such as wind and solar power, and the energy provided by Gala will be certified green through a guarantee of origin.
