Expo 'must be a success' says Napolitano

(ANSA) - Rome, November 12 - President Giorgio Napolitano on Wednesday called on lawmakers and officials to make sure that the 2015 Expo world's fair to take place in Milan is a success.
    "We have all put ourselves on the line (for this project) and we must all pull together to make sure it succeeds," the president said in a brief speech at the Quirinale presidential palace in Rome.
    "In spite of the fact that Italy is often considered a constantly conflicted and irremediably divided country, we can prove that...we are capable of expressing a common vision and the common good," he said.
