(ANSA) - Rome, November 11 - House prices in recession-hit
Italy remained 'stable' in the July-September period with
respect to the previous quarter, according to a Bank of Italy
survey published Tuesday.
However the number of property agents registering at least
one sale fell to 64.4% from 68.1% in the third quarter of 2014,
the Bank of Italy said.
Likewise the number of property purchases financed through
a mortgage also fell from 62.9% to 59.9% over the same period,
reflecting the difficulty faced by many Italians in obtaining
credit.
