(ANSA) - Rome, October 24 - Retail sales in
recession-battered Italy were down again in August, Istat said
Friday. The national statistics agency said sales were 3.1% down
on August 2013, adding that there was a "slight drop" of 0.1% on
July this year. The average of sales for the June-August period
was down 0.6% on the previous three months.
