(ANSA) Rome, October 24 - Silvio Berlusconi said Friday he is
hoping for a reduction in the time he will have to spend doing
community service after a tax-fraud conviction.
"The end of the (community) service should be brought
forward to February 15 because of the (exemplary) way I have
conducted it," said the three-time premier and media magnate.
Since May Berlusconi has been helping out with Alzheimer's
patients at a care home near Milan, serving a one-year sentence
after his August 2013 conviction for tax fraud on trading film
rights at his Mediaset empire.
