(ANSA) - Catania, October 21 - A Sicilian businessman
self-immolated because of a severe bout of depression brought on
by debts and work problems, police said Tuesday.
The man, 54, drenched himself with petrol before setting
himself on fire with a lighter, they said.
The man died in the countryside near his home in
Caltagirone, about 70 kilometres southwest of Catania.
