(ANSA) - Rome, October 16 - Italian Premier Matteo Renzi on
Thursday told regional governments to prune waste rather than
cut public healthcare to meet new financial discipline in the
state's 2015 budget.
"Cutting health services is unacceptable. Aren't there too
many managers or head physicians? Is it impossible to save on
procurement or regional councilors?" wrote Renzi in a post on
the social network Twitter.
