(ANSA) - Kiev, October 10 - Ukraine President Petro
Poroshenko dismissed millionaire Serghii Taruta as governor of
the war-torn Donetsk region, media reports said Friday.
Taruta has been running the predominantly Russian-speaking
southeast region where government troops are battling pro-Moscow
separatists.
He will be replaced by Aleksandr Kikhtenko.
