(ANSA) - Rome, October 3 - The European Commission has
asked Italy to present a timetable for introducing legislation
on meeting EU norms for the civil responsibility of magistrates,
diplomatic sources said Friday.
The EC made the request for the time frame through Italy's
permanent representation to the European Union.
Without adequate legislation Italy could be sent to the
Court of Justice in Luxembourg, the EC has warned.
