(ANSA) - Milan, September 30 - A high-ranking official in
the Lombardy regional government was served notice Tuesday he is
under investigation on suspicion of rigging tenders.
Lombardy Secretary General Andrea Gibelli is being probed
for "constraining the freedom of choice of the contractor" in
a graft probe in which Lombardy Governor Roberto Maroni is among
others under investigation.
