(ANSA) - Isernia, September 19 - Donato Bruno, a Senator
for Silvio Brelusconi's Forza Italia (FI) and a candidate to be
a new Constitutional Court member, is under investigation over
alleged fraud in the bankruptcy of clothing giant Ittierre,
Italian daily Il Fatto Quotidiano said on Friday.
Bruno, a lawyer, was allegedly chosen as a consultant for
Ittierre by his friend Stanislao Chimenti, one of Ittierre's
liquidators, for which Bruno received a fee of 2.5 million
euros.
