(ANSA) - Rome, September 11 - The average interest rate paid
on three-year Italian State BTP bonds dropped to a new low of
0.52% at a Treasury auction on Thursday.
The Treasury sold 2.457 billion euros' worth of the bonds
at a rate that was significantly lower than the 0.84% average of
the last equivalent auction.
