(ANSA) - Rome, September 8 - A vaccine against the Ebola
virus developed in Italy has proven to be effective for up to
ten months in monkeys, science journal Nature reported.
The vaccine was developed by a team of American and Italian
researchers at the IBRM Science Park in Pomezia, just south of
Rome.
The first phase of human testing of the vaccine has already
been announced, and the vaccine is one of two that the World
Health Organization is relying on to help fight the current
