Islamic State jihadists reportedly execute American hostage

(ANSA) - New York, September 2 - The Islamic State (ISIS) on Tuesday published a video purporting to show the beheading of American hostage Steven Sotloff, who was abducted in Syria a year ago.
    Sotloff, 31, appears in an orange jumpsuit in the video titled "Second Message for America", The New York Times reported citing SITE Intelligence Group.
    The White House said Tuesday it could not confirm whether Sotloff has been executed.
