Renzi denies being soft on Russia

(ANSA) - Rome, July 31 - Premier Matteo Renzi on Thursday denied reports that his government was soft on Russia, after the EU increased sanctions against Moscow over its support for separatist rebels in Ukraine. "The accusations from some international newspapers that we are obliging to Russia is one to return to sender," Renzi told a Democratic Party meeting.
