(ANSA) - Buenos Aires, July 30 - Argentine's economy
minister Axel Kicillof was in New York on Wednesday, in final
negotiations aimed at avoiding a bond default.
The meetings come after a United States judge ruled in
favour of hedge fund investors who have demanded repayment of
$1.3 billion.
If a deal to avoid a default can't be reached it would mark
the second such financial crisis for Argentina, which defaulted
in 2001.
