of "deep change", Premier Matteo Renzi said after meeting
European Commission chief José Manuel Barroso in Rome.
"The more Italy simplifies itself, the stronger it will be.
This may seem like a banal thing to say, but it is absolutely
sacrosanct," Renzi added.
