(ANSA) - Rome, June 30 - Inflation in Italy was down to 0.3%
in June compared to the same month last year, the lowest it has
been since October 2009, provisional data from national
statistics agency Istat showed Monday. In May it was 0.5%. The
result caused prices on food and domestic goods in June to drop
by 0.6% on the year, the biggest dip since September 1997, Istat
said. Compared to May, prices on food and domestic products
remained unchanged.
