(ANSA) - Rome, June 25 - At least 100 Taliban militants
have been killed in southern Afghanistan Helmand province this
week, officials said Wednesday.
At least 21 Afghan troops and at least 35 civilians died
in five days of clashes in Sangin district in Helmand province,
a week after three US soldiers died in an explosion in the
province.
