(ANSA) - Paris, June 19 - The share of total disposable income of the richest 10% of Italians is ten times higher than that of the poorest 10%, according to a study by the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) based on 2011-2012 figures released Thursday.
The richest 10% of Italians had 24.4% of national disposable income, compared to the 2.4% of the poorest 10%, the OECD said.
The study also found that the elderly are less at risk of poverty now than they were 30 years ago.
Instead among young people the risk has grown.
