(ANSA) - Rome, June 19 - An exodus is under way from the
Pakistan tribal area of North Waziristan after the government
launched a fresh offensive against Islamist militants.
As tens of thousands of people fled the region, a camp for
displaced people was set up and a curfew was lifted to allow
more people out.
Countless others are expected to bid for safety in the
upcoming days, officials said.
