(ANSA) - Rome, June 16 - The number of children born in
Italy to foreign parents dropped in 2013 for the first time on
record, Istat said in a report Monday.
The number of births to foreign parents was nearly 19.878,
down by 2,189 compared to 2012.
However births to foreign parents still account for 15% of
newborn babies Italy, as they did in 2012.
