(ANSA) - Milan, June 11 - Municipalities near Milan were protesting Wednesday over plans by alleged neo-Nazis for an event Saturday near the northern Italy town of Carugate. The concert is said to be a fund-raising event for the Greek Neo-Nazi party Golden Dawn. Mayor Cristina Carrer of nearby town Pioltello spoke out against "any demonstration that serves as an apology for Nazi" ideology and calling on government institutions and security forces to work together on the matter. Carrer said that the mayor of Carugate, Umberto Gravina, had informed Milan prefect Francesco Paolo Tronca and he, in turn, said he was "willing to call an immediate meeting of the committee for security and public order" to discuss dealing with event.
