(ANSA) - Udine, April 22 - A man claiming to live in absolute
poverty was cautioned Tuesday after police impounded his Bentley
and Range Rover.
Fabio Frassinelli, 42, from this northeastern Italian city,
had never filed an income-tax return, police said.
They have cautioned him for allegedly dodging taxes worth
some 180,000 euros over three years.
Frassinelli is a close friend of infamous paparazzi king
Fabrizio Corona, jailed for blackmailing celebrities during an
on-off relationship with showgirl Belen Rodriguez.
Like Coronoa, Frassinelli parlayed his high-living style
into TV appearances.
Corona and Frassinelli were arrested in a probe into
counterfeit dollars in 2008 but later cleared.
