(ANSA) - New York, March 28 - A White House spokesperson
said Friday that Italian Premier Matteo Renzi is a "very
promising, energetic young leader," after United States
President Barack Obama met him in Rome Thursday. The White House
said Obama was "struck" by Renzi's reform plans and "his
commitment to Europe and the Atlantic Alliance".
