(ANSA) - Milan, March 27 - China's central bank, the
People's Bank of China, now holds more than 2% of Italy's
largest State-controlled energy firms, the Italian financial
market watchdog announced Thursday.
The People's Bank holds 2.102% of Eni, and 2.071% of Enel,
Consob reported in an update on financial market activity.
The regulator noted that the Chinese bank exceeded a 2%
limit that triggers a disclosure requirement.
