The exhibition presents the most interesting images which have been digitalised under the project SHPAENA. A replica of the exhibition is scheduled to be held in all the capitals of the involved countries.

From the war's destruction to the hope of reconstruction, from totalitarian regimes to democracies, from economic wellbeing to trade union claims, and then... cinema, fashion, everyday life and the social and economic changes portrayed in 150 pictures.
A contribution to knowledge and memory for future generations.

The exibition "Developed and Preserved" held in Warsaw under the honorary patronage of Warsaw mayor Hanna Gronkiewicz-Waltz is the culmination of the SHAPAENA project in Poland. The exposition, to be opened on September 14, 2007 at 13:00 hrs in the Royal Lazienki Park, was organized by Polish Press Agency and the city of Warsaw.

A photographic itinerary that tells history since II World War till present time in five European countries: Belgium, Hungary, Italy, Poland and Portugal. About 170 photos report five Histories forming One Europe. There are differences, but also many similarities.
