Rome tops Italian city destinations for foreign tourists
Italians prefer visiting London among international cities

The online hotel-booking site found people visiting from outside Italy flocked to the country's cultural heritage cities once again in 2013. An analysis of data from the site's Hotel Price Index concluded that Italy's top three destinations for foreign visitors were Rome, Venice and Milan, followed by Florence and Bologna. Also in the top 10 were Naples, Sorrento, Pisa, Palermo, Palermo and Verona.
The top foreign destination for Italians using the site was London in 2013. Paris came second, followed by New York, Berlin, Barcelona, Amsterdam and Miami.
