Nigerian confesses to murder of 60-year-old Bari woman (ANSA) - Bari, November 14 - A Nigerian arrested by police on Thursday has confessed to the murder of a 60-year-old woman in Bari, a southern Italian coastal city.

Caterina Susca on Monday was found strangled with a bag over her head in her home. A neighbor took pictures of the man as he left Susca's house.

Investigators said Nwajiobi Donald made his admission after interrogators confronted him with ''the numerous (pieces of) incriminating evidence collected in the hours immediately following the crime''.

An autopsy and reconstruction from evidence to help explain the dynamics of the crime will be completed Friday.

A 30-year-old Ghanaian was earlier held for 24 hours, questioned, and then released Tuesday.
