Police seize 50 mn euros in assets after broker's suicide (ANSA) - Rome, November 13 - Police seized 50 million euros in assets Wednesday as part of an investigation following the suicide of a securities broker in Rome.

Giovanni Paganini Marana, who owned his own brokerage firm, took his life in September 2012 and finance police said they are probing complaints from wealthy clients of financial wrongdoing.

These include allegations of money laundering, misappropriation of funds, and misleading investors.

Several employees of Marana's firm are being investigated.
