Themed on "Invigorating the Greater Bay Area through Opening-up and Innovation," CHTF2019 is expected to attract more than 3,300 exhibitors from home and abroad, as well as over 500,000 visitors coming from over 100 countries and regions.

This year, CHTF arranged 5 key routes for visitors: The Greater Bay route, 5G route, smart manufacturing route, gadget route and the investment potential route. The event will cover every sector of the hi-tech industry including artificial intelligence, smart home, smart manufacturing, Internet of Things, smart driving, 5G, folding screen mobile phones, etc.

CHTF2019 will witness an increased number and diversity of exhibitors. 44 countries and international organizations will send delegations to participate in the event, setting a new high.

Apart from hi-tech giants such as Huawei, ZTE, Han's Laser, Shenzhen China Star Optoelectronics Technology Co Ltd, and NTT Data, a batch of newly-started companies with high value, including Cambricon and Orbbec, will also showcase their products during CHTF.

Su Yanwei, Deputy Director of CHTF Organizing Committee, said, “This year, we will gather more than 3,000 companies, 200 institutions, 100 universities, as well as over 20 innovation centers.”

Wang Lixin, Deputy Mayor of Shenzhen, said, “With four decades of development, Shenzhen has grown into a center of China's hi-tech industry. Shenzhen should play a key role in the construction of the international science and technology innovation center in the Greater Bay Area that encompasses Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao.”

In addition, during the China Hi-Tech Forum, which is held concurrently with CHTF, more than 250 sub-forums will be held, gathering around 70 world renowned speakers and guests including Turing Award winner Joseph Sifakiswill, Father of Industry 4.0 Dr. Christoph Meinel, and Nobel Prize laureate Erwin Neher.

During CHTF 2019, a group of major innovation projects will be nailed down in Shenzhen, including the big data and artificial intelligence lab co-built by Shenzhen Longgang District's bureau for administrative services data and Peng Cheng Laboratory.
