Lithuania aims to increase rail freight flows to Italy
Meeting between ministers Skuodis and Giovannini in Trieste
05 September, 14:06 (ANSA) - VILNIUS, 05 SET - Lithuania's Transport Minister
Marius Skuodis is expected in Trieste tomorrow for a bilateral
meeting with Infrastructure and Transport Minister Enrico
Giovannini. Italy's Ministry of Transport announced in a
statement issued today. Skuodis and Lithuanian Railways
(Lietuvos geležinkeliai) administrators plan to invite Italian
companies involved in logistics and rail transport to increase
the flow of goods transported by rail.
Lithuanian Railways administrators will sign a memorandum of understanding on intermodal transport between Italy and Lithuania at the meeting. (ANSA).
