Last black dot Saturday, on the
Autostrade Alto Adriatico network, with likely queues at the
Trieste Lisert barrier for the return from the vacations and
near the exit at the toll booths of the seaside resorts for the
last remnants of the exodus. This is the forecast released by
the Concessionaire. About 182 thousand transits are expected
throughout the day with about 26 thousand entries at the Lisert
barrier. In this regard, the cooperation with Dars (Autostrade
Slovene) is renewed again this weekend, which provides for the
recommended redirection - by means of variable message signs -
of traffic coming from Slovenia and Croatia on the alternative
route to RA13 and A4 via the H4 (Podnanos-Vrtoiba) - A34
(Gorizia - Villesse) bypass. As for the other toll stations,
nearly 18,000 outbound transits are expected in Latisana (13,000
inbound), 16,000 inbound transits in Villesse (considering the
influx through the alternative route from Slovenia and Croatia),
and nearly 14,000 outbound transits between San Donà and Meolo
(as many inbound).Flows will begin to gradually increase as
early as tomorrow with heavy traffic (red dot) in the morning
and afternoon in the direction of Venice. Sunday the 25th is
expected to be a quieter day (sustained traffic and yellow
sticker) with about 163,000 transits. Placemen (external staff
to direct queues at toll booths) will be active in Trieste
Lisert, Latisana and San Donà di Piave. Medical garrisons will
be present in San Giorgio di Nogaro and San Donà.
