(ANSA) - BELGRADE, JUN 18 - More than 200,000 tourists are currently spending their holidays in Croatia, the Croatian Tourism ministry informed on Friday, citing figures from the eVisitor registration system, local media reported today. In Croatia there are currently 183,000 foreign and 30,000 domestic visitors, with the biggest number of overnights generated by German, Slovenians, Austrians, Polish and Czech tourists.

"This is confirmation that tourists see Croatia as a safe holiday destination. We have ensured all the conditions for this, and observance of the epidemiological measures in place is still key to maintaining the favorable epidemiological situation and achieving a successful season," the Croatian Tourism Minister Nikolina Brnjac said, quoted by the national news agency Hina.
