(ANSA) - TRIESTE - "The FVG Region invests in the sustainable
development of tourism, both in terms of environment and
economy, in order to grow and bring positive effects to our
territory", said the regional Tourism Councilor of FVG Sergio
Emidio Bini, speaking on Tuesday in Bled, in Slovenia, with
Fabio Scoccimarro, councilor in charge of the Defense of the
Environment and Sustainable Development, at the conference
dedicated to tourism within the Bled Strategic Forum, during
which international keynote speakers, including the Slovenian
Minister of Economic Development and Technology, Zdravko
Pocivalšek, and Andrew Agius Muscat, general secretary of the
Mediterranean Tourism Foundation - Malta, outlined some
practical strategies on how to tackle the growth of tourism in
Europe.
Bini - a press release issued by the Region reported -
underlined the importance of cross-border and sustainable
cooperation. "We have many aspects in common with Slovenia, that
we should enhance; we are hoping to keep on strengthening our
positive relationship and develop niche tourism."(ANSA).
