On September 25 and 26, German
Defense Minister Boris Pistorius will visit Riga to meet with
his Latvian counterpart, Andris Spruds.
During the visit, the main issues of regional security, the
results of the recent meeting of the Contact Group for Support
to Ukraine, and additional tools to be made available to Ukraine
to repel Russian aggression will be discussed.
Further steps in the procurement process of the IRIS-T
medium-range air defense system produced by German company Diehl
Defence, jointly procured with Estonia earlier this month, will
be discussed, too.
