Fortis project on cross-border passenger connection

(ANSA) - TRIESTE, JAN 28 - A strong interest in a maritime
passenger link between Koper and Trieste emerged from the
feasibility study "Cross-border maritime connections for
passenger transport between Slovenia and Italy," carried out
within the framework of the Fortis project by the Municipality
of Koper (Slovenia), in cooperation with the University of
Ljubljana.
About 58% of a sample of respondents are willing to purchase tickets for a future line or travel carnets (24%). The survey results were announced today in a statement by the Central European Initiative (CEI), one of the project partners. (ANSA).
