Migrants: Lithuania, grateful for help but solutions needed

"Third countries instrumentalising migration"

21 September, 11:21
(ANSA) - BELGRADE, SEP 21 - "Lithuania is very grateful for the support and the solidarity it has felt" from EU institutions and member states, but the migrant crisis "is not over," the Lithuanian Deputy Minister for European Affairs Arnoldas Pranckevicius said today, arriving at the General Affairs Council in Brussels. "We need to work on solutions" to make sure EU member states "have instruments in place in order to deal with such issues, as hybrid attacks from third countries instrumentalising migration for political purposes," Pranckevicius added.
