Slovenia: EU court decides 750,000 fine over MIFID delay

13 January, 15:26 (ANSA) - BELGRADE, JAN 13 - The EU Court of Justice has
ordered Slovenia to pay a 750,000-euro fine for failing to adopt
in time into its national legislation the changes to an EU
directive on markets in financial instruments (MIFID-2).
Moreover, the country failed to notify the European Commission about the delay, the Slovenian news agency STA reported today.
The judgement of the Court was published on Wednesday. (ANSA).
