(ANSA) - BELGRADO, 02 LUG - The Serbian Progress Party (SNS, conservative), the majority force led by President Aleksandar Vucic, announced its win with a large margin in the repetition of the general and local vote held yesterday in 234 polling stations (out of 8,300) across Serbia.

In these polling stations, repeat elections took place due to errors and irregularities recorded in the June 21 vote.

According to the SNS, after the counting of the votes relating to 221 of the 234 polling stations, Vucic's party would win 60.2%. This percentage is similar to that recorded on June 21.

In the second place, the polls show the Socialist Party (SPS) with around 11%. The SPAS movement and a monarchist formation are tottering on the brink of the 3% threshold. (ANSA).
