Prefect of Gorizia meets Slovenian Consul ahead of Go!2025

VVF-Gasilci collaboration during the Karst fires was recalled

(ANSA) - GORIZIA, 24 SET - The Prefect of Gorizia, Raffaele Ricciardi, today received the Consul General of the Republic of Slovenia in Trieste, Gregor Šuc.

The Prefect and the Consul General agreed on the opportunity represented by "GO! 2025 Nova Gorica and Gorizia - European Capital of Culture 2025" as a driving force for further cooperation between the two cities in the path of European integration. They also recalled the fruitful collaboration that the Italian Fire Brigade (VVF) and the Slovenian Gasilci had mutually ensured during the fires that hit the Karst region in July and August.
