(ANSA) - ROMA, APR 16 - Starting tomorrow, Italian harbours will be off limits for Russian ships.The prohibition will also apply to vessels that have changed flag after February 24. The measure is contained in a document of the General Command of the Italian Port Authorities. In this way, Italy is implementing a EU directive of April 8, containing additional sanctions against Russia. Russian ships currently in Italian ports will have to leave them immediately the harbours after "the completion of their commercial activities," the document reads. (ANSA).
