Coronavirus: Polish firm testing drug against virus
Medicine based on plasma of patients, asymptomatic persons

(ANSA) - BELGRADE, 24 SET - Biomed Lublin, a Polish biotech
company, has claimed that it has developed the "world's first
medicine" to be used in a treatment against COVID-19, the Polish
national news agency PAP reported. The medicine was developed
using the plasma of convalescent COVID-19 patients or
asymptomatic persons and will now undergo non-commercial
clinical trials after the company claimed that laboratory tests
proved that the drug is effective, PAP reported. If the clinical
tests will perform well, the medicine might be registered and
commercialized in the next months, Biomed said, quoted by PAP.
