Germany: manufacturing PMI index rise to 56.6 points
Services index down to 49.1, 3-month-low

(ANSA) - BELGRADE, 23 SET - The latest data from IHS Markit
showed a further increase in business activity in Germany in
September, driven by a rise in manufacturing production, IHS
Markit said today. The index reached 56.6 points, up from 55.2
in August a 26-month high. However, "the overall pace of growth
eased for the second month in a row amid a slight setback in
activity across the service sector," IHS Markit noted.
The Germany Services PMI Activity Index reached 49.1 points, from 52.5 in August, a 3-month low. (ANSA).
