Czech Rep. opens to EU tourism, green light for Italy

Those arriving from Sweden and Portugal will have to show tests

(ANSA) - PRAGUE, 30 GIU - The summer holidays have begun, and the Czech Republic has withdrawn some restrictive measures for travel to and from the EU. According to the so-called "traffic light" system, Italy falls into the green category, Sweden remains red, and Portugal is now orange.

All EU citizens can now enter the Czech Republic without restrictions. Even tourists can enter the country, as the Czech Republic has lifted border controls.

Those arriving from Sweden or Portugal must show a negative coronavirus test when they enter the Republic. As for other countries, Czech diplomacy intends to restrict the EU list of 15 countries deemed non-risky to a dozen. The priority will be the possibility of traveling freely across the western Balkan countries. (ANSA).
