(ANSA) - BELGRADE, MARCH 24 – A total of 33809 confirmed cases of coronavirus (+4686 day-on-day), 24774 in Germany only, and 158 deaths (+48) were registered in countries in Central- and Eastern Europe, Germany, Austria and Greece as March 23, according to official data of national authorities collected by the World Health Organization (WHO). Most of cases of COVID-19 in the area were registered in Germany (24774, +3311 in the last 24 hours, 94 deaths), followed by Austria (3631, +607), Czech Republic (1165, +170), Poland (634, +98), Greece (624, +94), Romania (433, +66), Slovenia (414, +31), Estonia (326, +20), Croatia (235, +29), Serbia (188, +39), Slovakia (185, +7), Bulgaria (185, +22), Hungary (167, +36), Lithuania (143, +38), Latvia (139, +15), Bosnia-Herzegovina (125, +33), North Macedonia (114, +29), Moldova (94, +14), Albania (89, +13), Belarus (76), Ukraine (47), Kosovo (31, +7), Montenegro (21, +7).
