(ANSA) - BELGRADE, MARCH 18 - A total of 9153 confirmed cases of coronavirus (+1568 day-on-day), 6012 in Germany only, and 27 deaths (+3) were registered in countries in Central- and Eastern Europe, Germany, Austria and Greece as of March 17, according to official data of national authorities collected by the World Health Organization (WHO). Most of cases of COVID-19 in the area were registered in Germany (6012, +1174 in the last 24 hours), Austria (1132, +159), Czech Republic (383, +85), Greece (331), , Slovenia (253, +34), Estonia (205, +126), Romania (158), Poland (150), Slovakia (72, +11), Serbia and Kosovo (70, +24), Bulgaria (67, +16), Croatia (56, +7), Albania (51, +9), Hungary (50, +11), Belarus (36), Latvia (36, +5), Moldova (29, +6), Bosnia-Herzegovina (19), North Macedonia (19, +6), Lithuania (17, +3), Ukraine (7, +4). The number of new cases may be higher as several countries, including Greece, Romania and Poland, did not forwards data to WHO in the last 24 hours.
