(ANSA) - BELGRADE, MARCH 18 - A total of 9153 confirmed cases
of coronavirus (+1568 day-on-day), 6012 in Germany only, and 27
deaths (+3) were registered in countries in Central- and Eastern
Europe, Germany, Austria and Greece as of March 17, according to
official data of national authorities collected by the World
Health Organization (WHO).
Most of cases of COVID-19 in the area were registered in
Germany (6012, +1174 in the last 24 hours), Austria (1132,
+159), Czech Republic (383, +85), Greece (331), , Slovenia (253,
+34), Estonia (205, +126), Romania (158), Poland (150), Slovakia
(72, +11), Serbia and Kosovo (70, +24), Bulgaria (67, +16),
Croatia (56, +7), Albania (51, +9), Hungary (50, +11), Belarus
(36), Latvia (36, +5), Moldova (29, +6), Bosnia-Herzegovina
(19), North Macedonia (19, +6), Lithuania (17, +3), Ukraine (7,
+4).
The number of new cases may be higher as several countries,
including Greece, Romania and Poland, did not forwards data to
WHO in the last 24 hours.
Montenegro authorities reported the first cases of COVID-19
on March 17, 2020. (ANSA).
