Coronavirus: FCA closing factories for two weeks

Temporary suspension in effect in Italy, Poland, Serbia

(ANSA) - BELGRADE, 16 MAR - Fiat Chrysler Automobiles announced that its subsidiaries FCA Italy and Maserati will temporarily suspend production across the majority of their European manufacturing plants, the automotive giant said in a statement today.

The temporary suspension will be in effect through March 27 continues the implementation of a comprehensive set of actions in response to the COVID-19 emergency, Fiat Chrysler Automobiles said. FCA will temporarily close Melfi, G. Vico (Pomigliano), Cassino, Mirafiori Carrozzerie, Grugliasco, and Modena in Italy; Kragujevac, in Serbia; Poland: Tychy. (ANSA).
